Buckland’s portfolio company W.H. Davis has secured a major new contract with Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) to design and manufacture 68 next-generation infrastructure maintenance wagons, strengthening the long‑term resilience and efficiency of Ireland’s rail network.

Buckland Rail - a new leading integrated rail services company - is being announced today. It is made up of W.H. Davis, Davis Wagon Services and Yellow Rail, replacing W.H Davis (Holdings) Limited.

WH Davis has delivered the first 16 newly designed and built JNA Box Wagons to VTG and the freight operator, Direct Rail Services. The handover of the first 16 out of 25 new wagons is a significant milestone and forms part of a larger order and production run of 60 wagons.
